Regarding HorizontalContentAlignment/VerticalContentAlignment

I have a ControlTheme for Button that sets both HorizontalContentAlignment and VerticalContentAlignment to Center, but I'm experiencing a bit of an odd behavior in that it doesn't appear to apply. Rather, the Button seems like it's using vertical Stretch behavior for the content (a TextBlock in this case) that doesn't conform to the bounds of the Button. I've verified that both properties are assigned Center via DevTools.

I have the Button's height set to 36 via an md class, but its inner TextBlock initially does not appear.

I did a quick test by progressively increasing the Button height up until 100, which showed the TextBlock stretching to the bottom:

Navigating to that same TextBlock in DevTools shows that it's using Stretch, and switching it to Center seems to work correctly:

Are the content alignment properties intended to affect the base alignment properties in any way, or is their functionality independent from them and this is intentional behavior? I've attached a snippet of the relevant AXAML below:

My bad, this was user error within my theme: I had a Setter for LineHeight under the md class that was setting it to an absurdly high value. Thank you for the pointer! 🙏
