AdGuard does not work after using a 3rd party VPN

Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enable AdGuard (on start)
2. (Optional) Disable AdGuard (Does not affect results)
3. Enable other VPN (X-VPN, Secure VPN)
4. Disable other VPN (after usage)

Expected Behavior

AdGuard can be turned on, and works afterwords

Actual Behavior

AdGuard sometimes stays on Enabling Protection, other times reaches Protection is Enabled, but even when it shows that, ads are not blocked. If I force stop the app and re-enable AdGuard, or restart my phone and enable it, it works as normal.

I remember (vaguely) seeing an issue about his, but looking now, could not find it.

In order to troubleshoot this issue, we need to get your application logs.

Here's what we need you to do:

1. Enable debug logging:
   Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Logging level -> Debug.
2. Reproduce the problem, then remember the exact time when it happened.
3. Collect logs:
   Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Export logs and system info.
4. Send this file to qa@adguard.com:
   • include [android] keyword and 5988 in the subject of your email
   • specify the exact time when the issue occurred

i can reproduce. i used a third party vpn while adguard was enabled. and now it just won't turn back on.

i fixed it by force stopping adguard then re-enabling

Unfortunately, we see in your logs that the protection attempted to activate on the 20th and was successful. However, on the 21st, you manually paused the protection, so it shouldn't have activated automatically. Therefore, I would like to ask you to reproduce the issue again and send us the debug logs.

iirc, It showed in the app and notification that it was successful, but I saw ads (that do not show up when AdGuard works properly)

We've reviewed your last comment, but we still don't see the issue in the logs. Since the problem hasn't recurred for now, I'll close the issue. If you face it again, please re-open the issue and send us the logs again.
