Problem Statement

Vitruvian hardware is no longer being manufactured, and the Innodigym P1 is probably the best available alternative. The Innodigym P1 app (VT Fit) is far worse than this app. In VT Fit I especially miss having more exercises and the ability to create my own. Because of that, I’m using the Vitruvian app for exercise ideas, and a post on the r/InnodigymCommunity subreddit appears to indicate that I’m not alone. Having to juggle both the Vitruvian app and VT Fit is clearly not a convenient solution.

Proposed Solution

There are three Innodigym P1 models—Lite, Plus, and Max. Other brands, such as BH Fitness, also sell the same hardware. I believe Innodigym P1 smart handles and bluetooth button work with all of these products, which suggests the BLE implementation is the same across the entire P1 series. I have never reverse‑engineered any BLE protocol myself but I’m willing to help with that.

While I'm always down for a challenge, the sheer amount of trial and error involved with reverse engineering BLE (I literally just figured out TUT mode like...a month ago lol) I would be genuinely nervous about going through that process without a machine to test it on personally.

That being said, if you want to do the bluetooth snooping and create the uuid and gatt characteristic library, I wouldn't be opposed to providing the framework for it.
